'95 accord LX sedan here.
powerlocks on both drivers and passanger side doors only open doors and do not close. When using the key from the outside it locks/opens all doors properly. This happened after i replaced front door speakers. I double-checked that everything is connected properly (one time i forgot to connect mirror and was wondering why it quit working When i press the lock switch down i do not hear any sounds at all...like there is no connection...

Any ideas folks?

 

Check for power at the switch. If you're not getting a signal out of the switch, then there is your issue. The actuators on the doors seem to be working since everything works with the key. The switch is probably faulty. All you need is a test light and to pull the switch. Probe the wires accordingly and check for signal to the actuators. Good luck.

 

i just find it strange that both switches lost connection at the same time....they open doors but do not close them.. is there a common fuse somewhere "upstream" from doors?

 

I'm not aware of any fuse in the doors. I've never seen such a thing. Are all door lock switches bad? If you utilize the passenger door lock switch does it work? I believe there is a central lock module in the driver's door or on the driver's kick panel. Check for power at the switch and work backwards.
