found a 1982 Civic at the dealer today!

from what I was told it is all original besides the paint, I did a little knocking and didnt find any bondo, has original window sticker which says the car costs just over $6,000, has 72k miles, and the original owner traded it in for an 08 civic and they actually gave him $4000 for it. the owner of the dealer collects antique cars and motorcycles so the car is only on display until he decides to put it into storage. I'm still in shock at the condition of this car seeing as how its a Rhode Island car and there are 2000 honda's rolling around with rot nevermind one thats 26 years old

If I'm not mistaken, that car was on ebay a while ago. The dealer sold it after keeping in their showroom for a few years. Car had low mileage, believe in the area of 7k. Very clean and amazing knowing that cars like this still exist. Great history
A testament to good maintenance and keeping it clean, especially during winter months. It is scary when you are old enough to remember these being everywhere at one time!
Yeah that thing is super-clean. Brown doesn't look so bad when it's in good condition. Please do go and take a decent camera with you and get some good shots. Or at least borrow a friends camera!
Asked you not to take pictures? Okay, I know it's a really nice Civic, but it's not a [freak]ing Veyron. Why wouldn't you want to let someone take pictures? What a douche...
^Theres a few with b-series swaps, I've seen one person attempt a k20 typeR swap... Not sure if he ever finished. there's also one with a built h22 and tubed front end for road course racing.
That thing looks mint though!
I've got a good condition 81 hatch, it's the perfect DD with these gas prices.
35+mpg city driving FTW!
