Default Painting carbon fibre

Hey guys, I have an 02 Civic ep3 (milano red) and I picked up a Mugen style wing for my car. However, the cf has some sun spots on it but I don't think it matters because I plan on getting it painted. Can anyone tell me some facts or info about what precautions I should take or maintenance procedures?

Like maintainence for the cf, or how to prepare it for paint??? if you want to maintain Cf keep it well waxed, much like the body panel on the car, and keep it clean, and if you plan on keeping it in carbon, do yourself a favour and spray it with a 2K proper clear with good UV inhibitors in them(HOK has the best). Most of the carbon fiber parts out there us cheap resins in their production an they are not stable for long periods of UV exposure, there are some companies who use the proper epoxies, but not many, simply because it costs way more money to produce.
