suspension
hey, well...i made a bad decision on buying some dropzone lowering springs cuz it said it would give me a "2 inch drop" SYKE!!! i guess i have to take off the bumper stoppers....what would be my results if i were to take off the bumper stopper and what is that exactly?

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
I believe the bump stops are what cushion the suspension to prevent the components from contacting each other when you "bottom out". Repeated harsh contact from this causes damage to the suspension components since the cushion is no longer there.
If I were you I would NOT remove those bump stops. They're there for a reason.
If you can send those springs back then do it.....if not then you'll have to just eat it up until you get an actual good set of springs from a TRUTHFUL company.
Harsh reality man.....but it is what it is......don't take those bump stops off.....I think you'll end up doing more harm than good.

don't cut them off. they're there for a reason. firstly, your car should not even be bottoming out, and cutting off the last bit of cushion certainly won't do you or your car any good.
i believe i've already suggested against these ebay springs along with many other ht users. but oh well. you learn through experience. we only give our .02 because most of us don't want other people to make the same mistakes we've made and have them waste their time and money.
if you can, do send them back. spend an extra few bucks and get something from a more reputable company. are you from ontario, canada? i'm from scarbs, ontario, and if you're looking for a good shop where the guys know what their doing, and where they can give you really good prices, go to optionjdm (optionjdm.com) at the corner of denison and esna park in markham.
