Default auto to manual swap estimate?

hey HT, im planning to do a tranny swap in the future i got a 96 DC LS and im wondering how much would it cost to do the swap?

it just depend on where you get your parts from when we did my bro ls we bought a wreck 99 SI for 1000 and just swapped everything over. its just all depend where you can get your parts from.
I would just get parts from a local wrecking yard.

how much time and all the parts i would need. can anyone give me a rough estimate for the whole project? im a newbie with this stuff

depends on who is doing it on how much time it would take, i'd imagine somewhere around $400 to $600 for a trans. swap. cause round here a good engine swap costs about $400
idk really... just an estimate.
