Default eagle h-beam rod clearance

i heard from many people that eagle rods dont have much clearance in a D16 engine, they knock.

http://www.theoldone.com/articles/d_..._building_tips/ is a DIY on making clearance of the block.

are there any other reputable rods out there? or has eagle fixed this problem? that DIY seems like a piece of cake, but I just wanted to see what others thought.

Yes, you have to notch the single cams with eagle rods. You also have to do it with pauters too. I dont' know why companies cant make rods for single cams w/o notching that damm block. It's not hard, however its just take longer to finish building the block.
