Just looking to see what you guys thought of them? I am kinda of tired of having the CATZ I have now. They look great and are just bright white no ricey blue look to them at all. But I think the BRIGHT YELLOW lights on the Speedvision GT series are crazy! Can't find a good pair?

You talking about HID's or actual yellow headlights, like you see on French cars?

Yellow = not DOT legal

The GT cars run the yellow hedlights in sportscar endurance races to help drivers distinguish the class of car coming up behind them - so they know how fast the closing speed will be.

What is the deal with yellow lights? I saw them on cars in Paris. Even white foglights are better visibility than yellow.

How about retrofitting yellow fog lights in the place of the USDM highbeam housing?

In that case, why not just use these bulbs in the high beams?
Here's some yellow bulbs. I wonder if they are illegal.

Stock headlamps, stock bulbs.

Anything else, HIDs included, would be rice.

Yellow light actually reflects back less and penetrates better in low visibility conditions such as fog and rain...

How is HID rice? Better vision at night is never rice in my opinion. Sure those guys who buy the 8000k or whatever that look like damn barney are gay, but good ole 4300K or so is a LOVELY improvement in light output, which makes night driving not only more enjoyable, but also a lot safer.....

I would be curious to see how some yellow bulbs worked in the high beams as well.

1. Our housings are not designed for HIDs. The design of the projectors is inappropriate, therefore negating much of the benefit of increased light output. In addition, OEM HID housings should be self-leveling to keep glare from affecting oncoming traffic. Ours do not have this feature.

2. Most people buy HIDs to look "cool." They don't give a damn about light output or safety.

3. The stock headlamps are perfectly sufficient. I have never been in a situation where my stock-bulbed low beams were not up to the task of lighting up the road ahead of me. On dark-***, deserted roads use the high beams. That's what they're for.

I could see how this is true for the people who buy the ones with the bluish/purplish look to them, so they can look like the BMW's and such. But, I think it is safe to say that the people who buy the ones with no colored tint at all, are buying them for the right reasons.

Edit: I forgot to add this. I dont know if its because they are older lights or what, but my stock JDM 1-piece headlights SUCK. I pray for the day when a company makes an HID kit for the h4h bulb.

While the above is true, HIDs in OEM USDM housings still provide a vast improvement in light output. Just because the housings aren't designed for HIDs does not mean it is not worth doing.

2. Most people buy HIDs to look "cool." They don't give a damn about light output or safety.
That's a dangerous, and idiotic, comment. I agree that SOME only care about the look, but they are buying 6000+k hids anyways, which are gay in general. I don't think those people even count.

3. The stock headlamps are perfectly sufficient. I have never been in a situation where my stock-bulbed low beams were not up to the task of lighting up the road ahead of me. On dark-***, deserted roads use the high beams. That's what they're for.
I guess.. if you are used to driving cars from the 1930s the stock lights are great. Personally, I think they suck. I have always thought they sucked. I will always think they suck.

Stock bulbs in stock headlights SUCK straight up compared to HID.

after riding in cars both with OEM HIDs and aftermarkets (in crappy housings no less...), stock ITR lighting straight blows. In inclimate weather, even worse. Hell the lighting on my 911 is better, and that car is a lot older than me...
