I searched and didn't come up with anything i'm writing on my girlfriends behalf she has a 99 accord ex 4cyl auto and every time her car has been sitting for a lil bit you basically have to floor the gas to get it to go after that its normal. Is there anything i can loosen, tighten or greese to help it, im not to knowledgeable on accords, so don't know ho different they are from civics.

If thats the problem you need to clean the throttle plate area.

yeah, for sure. i don't know why it's so common on 98-02 f23's.. but all it takes is some brake cleaner on a rag. we get paid half an hour to do it at the shop, and it takes 2 minutes.
