if you're not having problems, I wouldn't worry about it. I had a leaking gasket in my civic and I would have to add a bit of water to the radiator from time to time because it would push all of the water out of the radiator and into the overflow tank. Until this became a frequent event and I started seeing oil in the coolant and whitish smoke coming out of the exhaust, I didn't change it out.
a little leak probably won't throw your compression numbers off the chart or anything, or even make it run rough. You'll start to notice things though like:
* your overflow tank constantly filling up (and therefore your radiator will run low and your engine will overheat)
* "milky" looking oil in the engine (often easily seen on bottom of oil cap)
* oil in the coolant
* air bubbles continuously surfacing in radiator
* white steam emitted from exhaust.
If you aren't experiencing any symptoms, then you aren't having any problems! I wouldn't worry about it until you start to see bad things happening, and a small leak even probably wouldn't contribute to rough running when you aren't seeing symptoms.
