Engine supplier is having trouble scourcing an engine.....since the old one needs to be rebuild might as well take the money and build the engine.

Help please quickly have to call him in the morning.

So, if not, who makes a crank, suggest rods and
I have chosen Arias pistons if I cannot locate a stroker kit.

I can't remember who makes the stroker kit, but go with crower H-beam rods and get the crank knife edged.

eagle does not have a site. I have their brochures at my office. I can tell you in the morning. Import Builders has excellent pricing on rods and pistons.

Yeah, don't go with the "I" configuration... H-beam are much better.. Don't let any shop tell you otherwise. I don't know why you'd need a new crank, if I remember correctly, Honda cranks are tough as ****, Forged .. I'm assuming the SOHC's are the same way.

Why not take a 1.6L stock crank, have the rod bearings offset ground to 1.3L rod specs, run a custom length crower rod, get 1.9L from a 1.6L. It is that easy!

Just like a Chevy.

Might also have to consider the crank could be damaged from the knock.

Save for a swap
Look moron, I need the car running. Stay on topic!

Well. Here the deal.

They don't do rebuilds. And they sounds stupid to me.

"Honda's are a pain to rebuild." "Your looking at the labor cost being insane"

What about a swap?

"That isn't legal"
Yes it is.
"Well I would have to look into that"

Well, as soon as he finds a damn engine, I will have him.....spade suddenly thinks that he should look at http://www.sohfast.com
Hell it is just a damn long block.

Hey Spade, you did me a favor, here's one for you. Are you in LA? If you're around, go to Top End Performance in the valley(www.racetep.com) ask for Steve, he can build ya a right purty motor. Seriously, he preps all sorts of track motors, mostly roadcourse. He did a friend's integ LOOOOng before, bout 93, full custom turbo, built motor AND custom individual throttle body setup. Car was sweet (he'll even adjust for free anytime after) but my friend was a puss and couldnt drive the car for shiet. Lemme know if you want more details...

Yeah it was a sweet setup, full custom. At the time though my friend spent like $13,000 because noone else was doing it, but Steve stands behind his work.

Eagle is only making b-series stroker kits.

If you spun a bearing, all you need is the shortblock. Take your car down to my buddy Ryan and we`ll find you a shortblock. You`ll save some SERIOUS cash. Or, do a swap.
