Default Carbon Fiber Sheets

I was looking to purchase some carbon fiber for creating a gauge holder, in the location of the OEM head unit.
The piece i was going to buy was 3mm Double Sided 9.79in. X 24in from SPW.
However, it turns out SPW has them on backorder.

I need to know if there is any other sites out there that offer this.
Real carbon fiber sheets.

Thanx

read an article a while back from a company that sold carbon fiber sheets, tubing, and supplies...they mentioned a national shortage of carbon fiber so use would be more restricted to larger companies...

Hey there I remember you from several years back. Good to see you are still around. Thanks for the post up. I just shipped 3 water jet cut pieces for an ht member the other day, one of which had a bunch of gauge holes water jet cut. Just let me know what you need and I would be happy to help.

this is a quote from where it is sold:
Performance Carbon is a REAL Carbon Fiber with adhesive backing.
end quote

ok now a definition for "sticker" from http://www.dictionary.com:
stick·er Audio Help /ˈstɪkər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[stik-er] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun 1. a person or thing that sticks.

now your the one who introduced sticker, thank you for doing to, because thats what it is....
i was helping *******

on top of that your totally wrong. you do not "lay" it yourself. you peel it yourself and stick it yourself. to LAY carbon fiber would imply you are using raw fabric and resin, which you are NOT doing with any of the products i mentioned......

have you tried Protech Composites for your Carbon Fiber
Sheets?

http://www.protechcomposites.com

They sell the best/highest quality carbon fiber sheets I've seen. Very high gloss carbon. I know they ship sometimes the day you put in the order. Good customer service i guess and the panels are real carbon fiber, not the fake stickers. (they use the stronger Epoxy resins too, so it will last a long time.)

Hope that helps!

You say that because it's your company.

Yeah, I'm biased so I would probably disregard my earlier comments.

There are a few other good sites out there. www.dragonplate.com is probably at the top of the list. Also Sierra composites seems to be good too.

what do you mean it ain't easy to come buy? you can order rolls of carbon fiber in 2x2 12k from lots of suppliers... i can buy a roll 50" x 100 yards long...

as for sheets of carbon fiber im assuming you mean a rigid panel. try these. great company. they'll also custom make you any panel you want. quality stuff.

Ok hero....it's well known the prices are inflated and many companies are in short supply to private buyers due to aerospace and big bulk buyer corporate demand. That's not to say there aren't companies selling, but they aren't getting it at the price I got mine.

Where did I become the hero? You never said what you paid, all you said is its hard to get now. Which is false, its very easy to get. Its also reasonably priced right now too... I can rattle off quite a few suppliers right now that will gladly sell to a "private buyer" I order it quite often, I think I would know.
