TRASMISSION QUESION????
Hello
My wife has a 1999 Honda Accord V6 LX coupe 6 Cyl 2dr automatic transmission.
Recently i noticed a very weird thing about the transmission.....when the car is in third gear lets say u wanna stop in a stop light or stop sign u let the gas pedal go and dont hit the brake right away .....while the car is slowing down without pressing the brakes the speed goes down then it downshifts from 3rd gear to 2nd gear ....right when it downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear the car jerks little bit ...sometime it feels like somebody kicked the car from back ....dun know what it is
Can anyone tell me what it could be?

time for a new transmission as 2nd gear clutch pack is toast. It won't be long before you get it on the accelleration side and slippage in all gears. Best bet would be a honda reman unit as most shops have no clue how to properly rebuild the honda automatic in those cars
