RPM gauge and MPH gauge Bounce around at idle.. WTF now the car is dead
i just put my motor back in the car with a addition of an Resistor box, i start the car.. it makes a weird noise prior to starting it or when the ign is turned to on, later found out it was a clicking noise that came from my Main Rely and IAC value behind the intake manifold. .. my first start of the car was Good.. it ran fine and it idled.. but as the days went on (like the next few days ><
, i started to notice my rpm gauge bounce around at sitting idle and my MPH.. gauge bouncing around as well.. and the car would just die out after that.. .so i would wait a while and start it again and it would start.. but the condition just worsend each time.. and finally the car just primes .. cranks .. and there is spark on cranking.. but.. it just does not start. .. anymore..
what i changed:
Alternator
took out the IACV..
replaced the Main Rely
looking into right now
ELD
Grounds
Resistor box wiring..
possible blown ECU..
setup:
Hondata s200
1998 dc2 gsr
boosted.. any other info.. needed just post..
also another werid thing i noticed that.. inside the car on my turbo timmer it says the voltage is at 11.5v with the charger hooked (12v 60amps) up and when i connect a VM to the fuse box it says 16.39v.. so.. there is a voltage drop inside the car of on the dash side.. i suppose.. also when the car was running the alt was putting out 13.9-14.2 voltage.. so.. thats good.. .. ***. i hate electrical problems.. cuz.. you have to take out soo much tape.. ties.. to get to these things ><.. .ahah im losing it..
