The Cobalt is indeed a all motor, I think it now has a stick shift vs the previous auto, I'm not sure what happen, but Julie has beed replaced.

and it was driven all last year "all motor" by Julie Stephans !

( oh BTW, if anyone didnt know already, Julie is on my TV doing test drives in new cars ! comcast on demand ! w000t !!! )

on another note, i wish they would be alittle more specific on the results site, as far as times, its seemed like they had some repeat times on the qualifing screens, as if only the contestants best et/mph is posted

Whatever it is, she was having shifting troubles during qualifying.

Wow... only 1 competitor in power street. That had to be the easiest $1200 he's ever made in his life.

I think those elimination results look like the Atlanta results from qualifying correct?

I looked in the Cobalt and it had an XTRAC. I heard she ran 9s this weekend....if so...Congrats on the huge accomplishemt!!!!

We can all sit here and gripe about attendance and all that, but we were sitting at home not helping the situation. I was suprised that Power Street didn't have more competitors with all the EVOs down in that area. There is ZERO talk on the EVOm forum about drag racing events, so I'm going to head over and try to motivate some people. For the next event, everyone make a point to tell as many people as you can. Nopi is doing everything they can, but we all have to contribute as well.

Spectator attendance looked really good!!

You can see that from the photo's, just look at the large number of people in the stands.

Good for NOPI.

Yeah i have to say racer attendance left much to be desired, but sunday really impressed me with the amount of people in attendance and the amount of SC cars that showed up to run brackets and open session. I know as racers we all hate brackets but people definitely came out to support the cause so thats never a bad thing.

Some of the sportsman finals will be run on 2nd round of qualifyin@ e-town.

Q16 still had quite a few races to get done when it started to rain. They announced over the loud speaker that the winnings for q16 and bracket would be held at Moroso and a makeup would be held there for those classes on a later date.

The Lucas All Motor Car does indeed have an Xtrac. There still working out the little bugs with the new setup. She went 9.97 this weekend in her first weekend in competiton . First Ecotec All Motor In the 9's Once all the loose ends are tied up it should be flying.

Those photos if you don't mind me saying but they stink. I can offer my services if NOPI is interested.

There are several of us powerstreet guys in the Mid Atlantic Region that couldn't make the trip to south Florida. Powerstreet will have a good racer count at Atco for sure
