Saying 'Hi' (didn't see intro thread)
Hey everybody, the names' Brian, live out in Fresno, CA and I like long walks on the beach, and Barry White.
On the other hand, I did just get into the seat of a 96 Civic Hatch and thought I'd join a non-Fresno based forum. I've been apart of http://www.fresnoracing.ipbhost.com/ for almost 4 years and have enjoyed my time there. It's been great (still is), but wanted to expand my horizons.
I've been out of the 'car' world for almost a year and a half and just couldn't handle it any longer. I know this is all meaningless without pics but most of you have seen outplayed renditions of my car that I'm sure you can create a vivid mental image of what it looks like.
96 Civic DX Hatch, Black, 5spd with legit OEM SI goodies all around the interior and exterior, and some nice items pulled form an AP1 (seats & steering wheel), bone dry motor, and a good set of suspension components including a 5lug Integra conversion, BFG rubbers, and beefed up sway bars and cross members.
I've owned it for a week and have all but taken out seats and dash board. It's got a lot of work to go yet, but I'm hoping to encounter some level-headed, well-rounded wrench heads, who can maintain decent conversation and shed light on a thing or two - and if you're in the central valley - speak up.
