wiring harness for full drag crx?
MY buddy picked this car up awhile back, one piece front end lexan windows, fiberglass doors, cage, full drag suspension set up, car was set up for an h22, he's wanting to put one back in it, but run hondata, question is do you have to put a complete harness back in or does painless make a kit? any help would me appriciated thanks scott
Painless doesn't make a kit for hondas really. They make universal kits for cars. If your going to do it youself, I would look into either buying a stock harness and modifiying it to your needs, or going to some place like rywire or locash, and buying a race harness.
did someone say "wiring harnesses". on a side note, i noticed that race teams always point at the wiring guys before anyone else. ***FWG*** F*cken wiring guys
I don't have a lot of time to build the full-race harnesses anymore, but http://www.rywire.com can make you one no problem.
thanks for all the replys, i was told something about maybe even using an obd2 harness, then jump back down to obd1 at the ecu, i'll keep looking though

yep..OBD2 civic harness, its all 1 piece all the way to the computer, for easy ins/outs..then run a conversion harness to run obd1 hondata/crome/ectune, or leave off the obd conversion harness to just have obd2 harness & a obd2 aem

if you are going to go through the hassle of putting "custom wiring" in the car, wether it be an oem obd2 harness or something you fabricate up yourself, you are going to be doing a good amount of work.... there is no sense in puttin an obd2 harness with an adapter harness. at that point, you might as well build your own ****, how you would like it done, and obviously this is going to give you the best fitment. also with using old oem harness, you get into old brittle wire casing, corroded connector terminals and probably some other brillants handy wiring work.... save yourself a huge headache, and build it all new, from scratch... if you dont know how to do it yourself, there are plenty of people that do know how.
