hey guys i am getting a jdm b16 and wanted to kno if the oem exhaust manifold pattern will match up to a stock 1999 honda civic ex exhaust pipe the one that bolts up to the manifold?

o u have done a jdm b16 swap already? mayb u can help me a little

so i got a jdm b16 swap i got a motor, head, harness, ecu,computer, and shift linkage all for 800 which i think is a good deal.

so i want to put this swap into my 1999 honda civic ex and i was sondering will there be any problems with the wiring since it is a jdm and the car is usdm?

and in detail what will i need to do to get this swap into my car? thanks for everything

 

I assisted with my swap because I had never swapped a motor. I ended up using my stock harness instead of the one that came with the motor. I think we had to extend a few wires. That's all I can really help you with. You can get good info around here by searching the threads or by finding someone who knows a lot about swaps. Good luck.

 

I've done plenty of JDM swaps from d series to b series into 92-00 civics. For your question you wont be able to use the jdm b16 wire harness, because it is the opposite of the us harness. All you have to do is use your harness from your civic and extend a few plugs and cut splice what ever else plugs you need from the jdm harness. Just take your time and you'll be fine if its your first time.

 

o well thank you but can you please help me further. as said b4 its a 2000 jdm b16. i want it in my 1999 honda civic ex which i have a d16y8 in right now. so what exactly in detail will i have to do to get this swap in my car. keep in mind i also want to keep my power steering and air conditiong. please help me in detail with everything thank you s0 much
