Another story on stolen rims, actully just one SI rim!! SOCAL cops suck..
A couple months ago i was parked in front of my friends house in Fontana CA. We were in the side yard checking out his new Honda umm about 30 yards away from my si i see a white beat up eg hatchback pass by his house really slow (to slow its a main road) So im like ok whatever maybe they like SI'S LOL.About 30mins later im still with my friends honda this time i see the same hatchback pass but with no lights on goin slow again!! So i knew something was up i hustle out front sure as **** my driver side front was sitting on a block!
But they only took on rim from me nothing else. About a house down they turn there lights back on and i was able to get there license plates! Put my spare on a go look around but nothing.Call the police make a report give them the license plate and a description of the car they say that they would call me and they never did i called the a few time to check up i got nothing no call backs nada.. So what does everyone think?? Anything else i should have done?? I had no wheel locks my bad...

well i would have follwed them and whooped some behind if you know what i mean but thaqts just me...keep checking up and see whats up with the pig's
wheel locks could have helped a bit and the cops get so many complaits of car thefts i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a wheel to turn up
I had the license plate number, they should have been able to track where they lived if they did that i might have got my rim back...But they took no action whatsoever it seemed like..
i try to find there address...usually if u have their license plate, and if the car is registare...u might be able to get an address..like if u know somebody at jiffy lube..have them run the plate, maybe a while back the changed their oil at jiffy lube...jiffy lube uses license plate number to remember their customers...it be a + if u knew somebody at the dmv...just my 2 cents
And my entire car got stolen, but was recovered. I got yelled at for throwing a tin of mints out the window. No prints were taken, nothing.
And my friend's stock ITR was stolen from a mall and cut into many pieces after being stripped of everything but the rear speakers and rear seatbelts.
And the cops never found anyone for any of this, and presumably did nothing to find them.
It does not surprise me. Car theft, despite it often being connected to other crime, does not garner much police attention unless it's so big it's going to get them in the news.

One time my friends got one of his wheels stolen on his bmw on 4th of july. All he could do is laugh, they left it on a rock, so he went and bought a pistol grip shotty and stood watch. Lol.
Yeah, cops won't do ****. Hell my car was stolen a month ago, they took their time (3+ hours) coming to my house, took a report and bounced.
The retards tried logging into one of my bank accounts though and locked it out (I had some paperwork in the car), so we have their IP address and host on record.

I can't wait till i run into him again..
put a wanted ad in the socal classifieds for sum1 who can run a plate for u, but include your story. there has to be sum1 who can do it or knows sum1 who can do it. i would file complaint against the police too. how are they not gonna do something when you have A PLATE NUMBER! i would maybe understand if you didn't have any info at all. but chances are that if they were down to steal a rim like that, they probably steal cars too. i bet if they went to their house they would probably find other stolen parts too.

It's going to cost you 30 dollars minimum I think, for like a month subscription or whatever. If you really think this person has your rim, I would do it. Go to the police again. Can you prove it's yours? You have 4 of the same tire? Special mark or scratch? Do it, but however you do it try to do it right.
Have fun.
edit- 30 bucks 1 yr, not 1 mo... Even better
