I'm currently working on the wiring for my 88 civic. I just dropped in a '99 Civic Si motor (b16a2).

My father bought the computer and wiring harness needed, but, my dumb*** lost the paper that came with the computer and harness that said what wire was what for the added wires. I know that one of them is for the Vtec controller.

I figured I could take two pics and hopefully someone can help me out while I wait for my Dad to come back from his business trip


Any tips about the wiring and the swap will be greatly appreciated!

Edit: found the sheet telling me what each wire is, but wiring tips will be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know what the two wires on the 93 integra manual transmission are for?

I think they are for the reverse lights, but I don't remember taking off wires from the previous transmission on the 88 motor for the reverse lights.

Weren't the reverse signal lights ran somewhere else on the 88 crx?

B-series transmission has back-up light switch on bottom like this:

 

save you self the head ache and pay hasport to do the wireing, thats what i did, be smart dont be a retard!! Performed the same swap on my crx back in nov 07 and still have not had trouble with the swap.

That's great but, I'm a poor college kid. Not only that, I'm learning alot more about my car than paying someone else to do it.

I wouldn't trade my experience of working on this car with anything else to be honest.
