OKay, I might be having idle problems 95 Accord EX or it could be something else
I have a 95 Accord Ex 5 speed 4 cylinder
The Idle stays pretty even at about 800 - 1000 RPMs
But it has these "Dips in Power" That's what I call them.
I thought it was Vacuum issues because I just put in a SRI.
So I took the SRI out and reinstalled it. Double checking everything again.
I capped the 2 Vacuum hoses also.
It is still doing the same thing.
So it was suggested that I check the IACV and the FITV, but I have no clue where they are.
I did a search and found a similar thread about the 92 accord, but the pics of the engine are different.
So if I could get some assistance I would be grateful.
Also, Something I noticed today.
I had the car on after reinstalling the SRI and I slowly stepped on the accelerator and i felt the engine "Jerk" 2 or 3 times, the RPMs were about 800 - 1200
So I went under the hood and accelerated the car and I saw the engine jerk.
But once the car got to about 1500 RPMs and up, the jerking stopped.
Anyone have any tips or suggestions for me.
Thanks

I had quite a bit of maintenance done lately on my 96 Honda EX 6cyl, timing belt, alternator, starter, main relay, ignition switch. I did the last three, my mechanic did the first two. Today, the idle was really low, like 500 or lower, die a couple times. I went to the Acrua thread and found the pics. The Honda's IACV is similar. I clean mine and now it seems ok, idling at about 800rpm steady like before.
p.s. I only wiped clean the two holes, especially the one with screen . It was completely covered with scrudge.
