89 CRX electrical problem, lights don't work, won't crank, no click... nothing.
I recently bought an 89 CRX hf. It has been working fine until yesterday, I went to start it and nothing happened. No click or hum, no radio, no lights, nothing. The battery is good, however, I swapped the ECU out the other day and when I turned the lights on my dash lights went out, I checked the fuse and I blew it. I replaced the fuse and tried the lights again and blew another fuse. so I put the stock ECU back in. It worked fine. I went to go start the car the next day and it wouldn't start. So I tried to push start it, and nothing happened. I don't know where to start at... Could I have fried the ECU, or a wiring harness? Or is it probably a faulty ground? Does any one else have experience with this problem? I'm not a genius by any means when it comes to electrical trouble shooting. I also tried to jump the car and I still got nothing. Please help.
What else did you muck with, and why did you change the ECU?
Check that the battery isn't installed backwards (positve/negative). Make sure cables are clean and tight at both ends. Check main fuse in engine bay.

I agree with D-nuts, check all the wiring again. I don't know a whole lot about the wiring myself, I actually got another thread started asking for wiring help with my engine swap I just did.
If anything, try to do a run through, disconnect and reconnect wiring that you see.
