this is kinda simple. im tryin to buy a new valve cover. i can buy a 2000gsr vc, i have a 98gsr .. i dont think they changed anything on a gsr vc between that year, did they??

The DOHC VTEC valve covers from any B-Series DOHC VTEC head are interchangeable. Example, you can get a '94 B16a valve cover and bolt it onto your 98 gsr head.

 

thank you for the info.. i was sure thatr was the case, but i wanted to hear someone else verfy it, i just got a 2000 gsr valve c. my radiator end tank blew [and rigged, and blew again etc.]. ate the paint off my valve cover...ouch.. looked real ugly.. DAMN plastic endtanks,.. honda WWHHYYYY?

 

why did your overflow tank blow? if it keeps that up, you might wanna look into that...

 

not the over flow tank, the endtank on the radiator.. im thinking it blew cause its made of plastic and its kinda old... plastic endtanks suck...
