Tuning, I didn't get that far
Got a 98 MB6, which has a OBD1 harness.
Got an Apexi power FC which is OBD2A
(both confirmed by tuner) as I know that's the wrong way round to normal.
Managed to get an adapter lead, took a little sourcing.
My problem is that the tuner was about to do his stuff, but the car wouldn't start. He confirmed that the problem is with the distributor (IIRC) has a different operational voltage for OBD1 & 2A, 5 & 12 (forgot which way round - already)
My question is: how do I solve this?
Stand-alone ignition system?
Dizzy harness with separate power supply?
Cheers
Dan.

From my understanding all Civic Distributors (92-00) give off the same power voltage. They take 12V in and send 5V to the ECU along with the sensors. Did he mention anything else? You might want to post this in the drag forum, alot of tuners in there that could help you.
