Car- 94 acura integra/ usdm
motor- jdm gsr
wiring harness, usdm gsr
ecu- JDM P72

SOLENOID WORKS. VACUUM LINES ARE CORRECT.
MY IABS DO NOT WORK. yellow and black wire go to....?
PINK (used to be red im guessin but faded out) and blueish wire go to....?

Ive gotten MANY different answers by searching...does anyone have a deffinate answer?
any help would be great..i dont want to fry anything by wiring or grounding the wrong wires.

Yellow black goes to a 12v+ (the 12v+ from the 02 sensor will work) ( blue needs to go to the ecu. (its the signal) not sure what pin # on the ecu, sorry. and if this didnt fix it, go yellowblack to ecu and blue to the power! one way will work...

 

also make sure the IAB is cleaned up inside!

hey, i need help. where is the iab wire located on the motor? and what wire goes where to make it to run right? i got a 94 ex with a 95 gsr motor, using a p28 ecu. my wire harness is the 94 ex too. somehow my car runs but it does not kick in vtec, it seem it running like a ls motor... and i think it's that wire, not letting air in...? need help, thanks...

 

p28 ecu does not have the output for the iab control.. also check the vtec wiring.. pressure switch and solenoid,, most people swap out the stock intake for a aftermarket without the iab's but if ur gonna use them i would rec. a p72 ecu

 

On a jdm p72 (square) ecu pin A17 is +12v not ground like usdm obd1 ecus. The other wire that connects to the iab solenoid has to be grounded.
