Ecu question...
Ok so I have a '94 Civic EX VTEC coupe 5speed.
From what I've read...
I'm supposed to have a p28 ecu.
I checked this morning just to find that it is a p06. ('92-'93 Civic/Del Sol?)
Is that a bad thing?
Will I need to change it asap?
Sorry for the possibly dumb ?'s but it's my 1st car.
Thanks for the help in advance.

The P06 is from a 92-95 Civic DX/LX and Del Sol S. It is made for a 1.5L SOHC non-VTEC. It is ok to run, but I would get a P28 so you can have VTEC.
Can't you tune the P06 to work with vtec and such? If its posible it will be a lot easier to get it tuned than to get it traded I believe. Anyways, just tossing possibilities out there, good luck!
what is a slotted ECU?
you'll have to have the VTEC parts added, and chip installed.
OR sell the P06 ($30-50) and pick up a P28 ($90-125)
Make sure you have the D16Z6 engine.... swaps are common, it's possible you have the right ECU for your engine.
