i have a 91 integra ls when i am idling the rpms jump from 1 to 4 drasticallyand repeat

 

sounds like the IACV needs a cleaning or something.

 

check all your vacuums, intake gasket, never hurts to clean your iacv, any codes?

The engine lite isn't on i took it some where to get checked out and they told me i need a new throttle body ?? n e opinions

 

take the intake off the car. start it up. look inside the throttl body. there are two holes. size of the tip on your finger. one is IACV and other bottom one is FITV plug each one and if the bad idelling stops then you'll know which ones causing the problemo
