vss or cable???
now i was told there was no speedo cables on these 92 honda accords, and that it was just a vss, on the other hand i was under there a few weeks ago and seen a cable going into the bottom of my transmission not sure what it was can anyone clear this up for me, oh yeah by the way my speedo only works when it wants to, and all in the same thing the s light blinks and my engine light comes on once in a while any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
The cable you saw underneath is the shifter cable.
If the VSS problem is intermittant, you might want to check the connection.
The VSS is located in the top of the trans differential housing, straight down from where the breather tube meets the throttle body; 3 wire connector.
