Well it's a high compression motor so you can't be boosting it as heavily as other motors can be. In the end, it depends what turbo you're running since PSI from 1 turbo is completely diff from the PSI of another.

The greddy kit is more or less safe imo. You'll probably lose a bit of longevity with it rather than a stock motor, but I think that's to be expected with any sort of boost.

If you tend to cut corners and buy cheap parts do not go turbo.

Is it worth it? I can't get enough of boost!

Here is mine.

Greddy Turbo Kit: $2900-3300 average
Installation (unless you know how): $600-1200
A GOOD Tune (base map runs rich.. is so-so): $500-800
Heat Shielding: $50 (Greddy kit doesn't come with enough)
Colder spark plugs: $50-65
Synthetic Oil: $30
Optional parts.... You'll want to have some of these...
BOV: $100-250
Turbo timer: $50-200
Exhaust: $100-600??
High flow cat: $400 unless you want to see some smoke behind you when you gun it and pollute the environment: test pipe $100.
Gauges: $100-400+ Some things you'll want to know for sure like boost levels.
Miscellaneous stuff: $50

I don't know much about the TS turbo kit and am sure it's a good one. I trust Greddy and have owned three more of their kits on my other cars.

Power output will vary as the Greddy kit quotes 25% onto a stock motor with stock exhaust, nothing more. They dynoed it based on just a completely stock car and made that 25% quote. I've seen other companies dyno cars with other modifications then quoting that as purely turbo kit only.

Just adding an exhaust on any turbo car will increase power significantly. There are owners with the Greddy kit that have gained 30-40 whp just from a test pipe and exhaust.

It took me two full days, taking my time and making sure everything was done perfect. First start up crank, started right up, no CELs perfectly running. Although I did have to update the base map as it was not the most current on the E-manage Ultimate.

It will work exactly the same on the sedan. No difference. There are a few turbo Sedans over on ocho.

Turbo FTW, trust me. The money I used to spend on intakes and tiny **** added up. I wished I would've spent all of it on turbo parts at 1st.

if i were you i would keep on doing your research like you are doing... you should never purchase a turbo kit without talking to people that have allready installed theirs and ask them for their opinions ....try to get a few opionions .... also watch out for buying used turbo kits because you don't know what kind of condition some of the pieces may be in unless you can see them up front... don't get me wrong you will find honest sellers just be care full ...
