Default Skunk2 lowering springs, need opinions!

hey all, since it's getting nice out & my tax return is coming soon I'd like to drop my car...I found a pretty good price on the skunk2 2.5" lowering springs and I'm just wondering what people think of them/how they like them. I plan on using them with my oem shocks until they go bad.
Oh ya, it's a 96 civic coupe BTW and it's the first suspension upgrade I plan on doing. Rear sway bar soon after hopefully. thanks in advance!

i have had mine sitting in the closet, and been doing some research on them, everything that i have read said to go with a set of aftermarket shocks, just because of the drop, you will bottom out your stock shocks. i too am waiting on tax return, but sadly, its going to pay for more important things then my car...

I have had Skunk 2 springs on my last two civics I loved they way the car sat and drove. Very happy with them.

I'm gonna ride my stock shocks until they do kick the can then find some that will hold out for longer. I've heard of people driving them with the stock shocks for around a year before they went bad, some people only get 2 months though.
