oil on the spark plugs

Default oil on the spark plugs

theres oil on the top of my spark plugs i was told theres a o ring in there but you gota take out the cam and rocker arms to get to it. is that a hard job to do? what all will i need? o rings, valve cover gasket, anythiing else? also are all d series valve cover gaskets the same?

buy a new valve cover gasket and it comes with rings.

You will need the valve cover gasket set, some of them also come with the "packing" o-rings that you need. I know that the set I buy at Advance Auto comes with the packing o-rings and both the spark plug and valve cover gaskets.
You do have to remove the rocker arm/cam holder assy. but you can leave the cam in place so no need to remove the timing belt

No biggie just make sure you have a good torque wrench for those cam cap bolts as they are sensitive and can be easily broken or over/undertorqued, too tight and they will score your camshaft, too loose and stuff will come apart
