When you put a B18C5 into a CRX, do you have to....
do you have to use a combination of first gen b16a components (trans, distributer, etc) with the type r block?
Basically, what does it take to run a B18C5 in a CRX?
I already know you need mounts....

first of all my :hat: goes off to you my friend, you will be pretty fast. Besides that, I have no idea. I'd like to think you need a Type R/GS-R tranny. Don't you need like shift linkage adjusting also?
basically all you will be using is the longblock (for a straightforward pre-obd swpa that is) otherwise talk to mackymcg for the complete rundown of getting an entire itr swap into a crx. including the hydro trans.
Rex is right, you will have to use the pre-obd stuff, unless you want to get the entire wiring harness from honda, fuse boxes, ECU w/Immobi removed, etc.
If you want to run the ITR tranny, here is a link to my hydro transmission post:

Good luck, this sucker rips!
