okay i've been looking around and i've seen a bunch of threads about a 4th Gen SIR, and people claiming that it says SIR on the title. And one time when i was looking for a new prelude a guy tried to sell me one claiming it was an ultra rare SIR version.

So just to clear things up it is NOT some special model, its just a regular Si. There is SIR on the the title because its called Si in the states and SR in canada.

Hence,

Si and SR ----> Si/SR -----> SI/R ------> SIR.

There are SiR Models. They're from Japan and came as both 4th & 5th Generations.

Si = USDM
SR/SRV = CDM
SiR = JDM

yeah lol...i was just getting into cars then....and i actually believed the guy. didn't buy the car though.


as for the SIR thing i was talking about the ones in the us and canada. Some titles like my old 4th gen title said "Prelude SIR" on it while it was no different than a regular Si or SR
