Default 1996 Civic EX Rear Five lug Swap Question

Done abit of searching but have no yet found a concrete answer. I already have five lug done in the front (ghetto Style using ITR Hub assy/Gsr calipers with type R rotors milled down) But I was wondering for the Rear on my civic couldnt I just buy the Rear Hub assy, rear caliper brackets, ls/gsr calipers/rear brake lines, and then just be done with it? Since the type R calipers and all other integra rear calipers are the same I figured all I would need to do is to change the actual caliper mounting bracket and everything should fit. Am I correct in thinking this? So if I had a DC integra All I would need would be the hub assy, Type R caliper bracket and rotors and thats it?

that's correct but the problem is getting the rear hub assembly. you can't get just that from acura you have to buy the entire rear trailing arm assembly. and nobody is gonna take apart their rear five lug just to sell the hub assembly they will sell the entire rear trailing arm assembly. so you're pretty much gonna have to buy rear trailing arms and everything that comes with them. also with your front, why not just go to a junkyard and get a set of legend calipers or even 97-01 prelude calipers? they bolt up to your factory caliper bracket and you use the type r rotors without ghetto rigging them. the only problem with the prelude calipers is you will have to use a washer in between the 2 17mm bolts on the inside of the bracket otherwise the calipers will rub your rotors. just thought that'd help so you will actually utilize the big brakes you could run. unless the only reason you did 5 lug was for appearances only.

ok thanks, mainly did five lug because, well it was a dirt cheap trade and I was thinking why not. But Ill go ahead and do preludes in the front I had no idea I could. Lol Im not sure how smart this would be but Napa sells the entire hub assembly and a couple of places online do as well for about $150 for each side. Only issue Im seeing is actually finding the Type R rear caliper brackets. If all else fails and the rear alone ends up costing over $400 I will just sell the front set up and go back to 4 lug. I had no idea how difficult it would be to find wheels in a front wheel drive offset for 5x114.3

i think you mean the spindle, the part the the caliper braket bolts to and that is the part you can't buy separate. when i said the whole hub assembly i meant that as well.

gotcha I see what your saying, ah hell in that case its gonna be a pain in the *** actually finding the full rear assembly (just the rear that is). Im assuming theres no website or Japanese junk yards that will just sell the rear is there, and if so does any one know where at?
