im about to order my fal window kit for the race car and was wondering since the street version is already pre molded will all 6 pieces (92 hatch) pass tech? the race version is sold in flat pieces so im guessing it would be easier to mount the street version

anyone know of any other places that sells lexan kits?

 

I don't know if anyone else would agree with me.. But the FAL window kit is a joke... Its expensive and the material is lame.. I think its a Acrylic bases material poor quality non scratch resistant polycarbonate. Overall if you spent a little bit of time you can cut some nicer windows that will look alot nicer and last alot longer...

I just looked at your link of your car it looks like you did alot of work on your own.. im sure you can cut your own windows..

 

Yeah I purchased that window kit and agree it lame. Only thing I like is the pre molded curves

 

well i was gonna cut them till i started looking for right thickness lexan and havent had any luck, no local hardware stores carry them. i wanna be able to make it to texas tuner showdown may31st and buying them should save me enough time to get a couple of shakedowd passes and work some bugs out before then.
