Where is everyone getting their lead ballast? I need to add some weight to my car and was just going to go to walmart and get lead shot. What are other people doing?

 

im surprised no one mention old car batteries. salvage yard is getting $5 per battery right now due to lead going up. this time 4 years ago a used bad battery was worth 25-50 cents!

if you know how to handle/dissect an automotive battery, then you can melt it down for the lead. . however, i recommend you do not do this if you have never taken apart a battery before. i'd hate to see you get injured.
