looking for coilovers
im looking for a set of coilovers besides omni to use on my civic. the car is set up for drag, and is driven every day.
the reason why i cant use omni is that i have an injury to my back and i need something that is adjustable for street and track. thought about using tein with the edfc which can be adjusted from inside the car

If you're looking for justifications for spending more on a shock with adjustable damping, then relief for your back injury is not going to be one of them. You can only adjust the ride quality so much with adjustable damping, because that is really not the point of adjustable damping anyways.
It does "soften" the suspension, but not to the degree that it'd be comfortable on the street and suddenly razor sharp at the track. Damping adjustments are for fine-tuning the balance of the car - reducing oversteer or understeer, improving traction, and things like that. Shocks just control the springs, but springs are the major determinant in ride quality/stiffness. If a stiff ride could aggravate your existing back injury, should you really be looking into coilovers or tracking the car at all?
trust me, the last thing I need would be someone posting up here "PIC's killed my back!"
There's nothing that's going to provide the best-of-both-worlds performance that you are looking for. What makes a car perform well at the track will be very different than what makes it perform well as a daily driver - brakes, tires, engine mods, and suspension too. There are a bunch of little tricks that drag racers use to improve their times that don't involve astronomical rear spring rates, but I don't do a lot of drag racing, others may know.
