What is this? and what did you do about it?
Looking to do a catch can setup while the engine is OUT of the car! On most setups (usually Vtec engines) on the back of the block are 2 of the large plugged ports people are using to connect the breather lines to. On my block there is a sender plug of some sort IN one of the block ports. What is the sensor, and what have you guys done about it? take it out and hook up the breather ports anyways? Or just leave it alone and only vent the one side of the block to the catch can. Heres the only thread I've found which was asking the same thing, from mad long ago...and pics of what I'm talking about.

The second one is the port I'm talking about, with the 'sensor' removed. So its just that large hex cap, with a threaded hole through the middle. Anyone know a part number for that piece? Thanks

You just described 99% of all Civic/Integra enthusiasts.
If you don't like it, get a WRX. Much better crowd.
BTW, when did it become our OBLIGATION to answer your questions? Are we paid tech support?!

Well, aside from all the other talk. I'm still at a loss as to what the sensor actually is. Now my car is a 93, and supposably they came with a coolant sensor there, thats supposed to turn on the AC fan when it reaches a certain temp (no reliable definate sources on that bit) but the confusing part is....I have a JAP b18B in the car, and its a 98 longblock, and yet it still has this 'temp sensor' that supposably only came on 90-93 DA's. So who the hell knows!
^^^and to answer the one response up there...no your not required to answer my or anyones questions. but seriously, why the hell are you here then? why would you open a thread that has a ? in the title if your not going to answer. I only ask for help when I have no research time to find the **** myself. I dont have a computer at home and get about 20 mins of 'play' time at work to search for this ****...and having to read through 10000000 threads of people telling other people to search, and then if I DO find an answer, I gotta keep searching to find out that more than one source thinks the same thing before I can call it fact. But for anyone in the future who reads this....If you want help, and I can be of assistance PM me.
<<no hater here....helper.
