Default cam gear's

i just recenlt purchased some cam gears and i was wondering what i would get out of them i searched on this but i was satified with the answer's i found can sombody explain the gains if any that i would get would i need to get a more agresive cam for my b16

All you really get is the ability to advance/retard your timing for each individual cam shaft.

Which lets you adjust the height and/or slope of the power curve of the engine or lets you "move" the curve up or down in the rev range by advancing or retarding the cams either together or different degrees for each camshaft.
