Default $20k Build a Prelude

Alrighty so my bank account shows enough to build my car.

Who is the best company in the United States to build.

What I need:

Complete Engine Build (Still Street Legal)
Computer/Electronics
Transmission Build
Full Suspension
Full Braking System
Turbo

What I have: Stock JDM H22 VTEC in 1994 Honda Prelude

My motor studies isn't the greatest so dont beat me up if I don't exactly know what I am talking about.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just have all this money I've been saving up for my car and the exterior looks awesome but I can't race anyone in my town considering my car is probably one of the slowest. I need to get the project started and maybe have it done for at least have the summer season.

Thanks

So you want to just throw money at a shop to build your car for you so you can win some street races?

Yep! I have it to spend
I have other cars that have plenty of power.

It's that many people with these domestic cars drive me nuts, I want to put all the legal power i can into the lude to make it shine!

you say you want legal power, do you mean you want it to pass emisions, be street legal? if so your car isnt goin to be very fast at all, emisiions are strict, so you wont have a very modded motor, and the exhaust will be pretty stock, theres noise regulations to compete with

a street legal car is gonna suck

and why the hell whould you drop 20 thousand dollars on a 3 thousand dollar junk *** 94 prelude, talk about a horrible investmet of your money

You're 18, have "plenty of other fast cars" and just "happen" to have an extra 20K lying around to build a prelude?

Take ten grand of that and buy your own parts. Take that other ten and stick it in the bank, and leave it. Learn to DIY.

Word to the wise, dont blow all your money on your car.

If you have 20 grand, buy a bone stock EVO 9 RS...on the street, it will be faster than you could ever make a Prelude with any amount of money.

Dont waste all your money doing that ****. I'd waste SOME of it on making it NICE instead of fast. Interior parts/exterior parts/nice paint, basic bolt ons and maybe tuning on the engine, nothing big though dont waste all that money on a prelude if you want fast anyway... get a damn CRX or something if you INSIST on wasting your money to be ridiculously fast on the STREETS.

Because a bone stock Evo is not 450 hp
here is the stats off google
Horsepower : 286 hp @ 6500 rpm
Torque : 289 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm
Redline : 7000 rpm

You might be able to find one at 20k, but why spend that. Buy a 1000 dollar car, invest 9k into it, and you can have something that will spank that EVO up and down the block, for half the price

because a stock evo might run a mid 13 if you drive it perfect, if you invest 7K into that prelude it will run much faster than a mid 13
