Default taking off ground control sleeves

To replace the bushing. I need to take off my back right. I heard that there is a spring loaded bearing and if you dont take off the sleeve carefully the bearing will shoot out.

Is this true? And remedy for it??

no spring loaded bushings, whoever gave you that info should be poked in the eye

it was from a performance shop in my area, but they said it was only on 01 and up civics
