my friend told me i should try cleanin my AIC with carb cleaner(the inside) before replacing it...is that recomended?...oh, and im sure its the AIC because the rpms go to around 1k rpm when disconnectin it, it usually sits at 2k rpm and sometimes goes to 400-2k rpm's, to test it i pressed the gas pedal till the radiator fan came on then unplug the AIC and it did go down to 1k rpm...well, any comments?

if that doesn't work try taking off the throttle body. there's an adjustment screw behind a bronze plate. my gsr was idleing all messed up and that was my problem.

 

ok well, sorry but how exactly do i have to clean it...? also, would that have to do anything with my air/fuel ratio? my gauge shows "lean" after this weekend when i took it to 8k rpm, ever since my car feel really weird, people told me it could be my vacumm but my vacumm gauge shows 20...

hey i cleaned the iac with carb cleaner, it was fine for 2 days(driving in town under 50mph) but once i took it on the hiway...hit a small bump over 50mph and it came back...now idles at 1500 rpm max but comes back to 1k rpm when i tap the gas pedal...so pretty much if i drive it hard rpm stays hi, but normal when not pushed...
