Default Differences between EX and LX

I'm currently the proud owner of a 90 CRX Si and I'm looking to buy an Accord (94-97). What are the main differences between the EX, LX, and any other models. What are some things I should focus on when shopping for one?

EX will give you a slightly more powerful motor, aluminum wheels, rear discs and ABS and sunroof. Ummm I think that's about it.

sounds bout right plus a higher payment.. what you plan on doing long term? do you know.. if you want to go boost or swap.. i suggest going with a 94-95 DX... they are cheap and will be the best bang for the buck.. then do the swap

if you dont want to do something like an engine swap i d get the EX

EX 4 wheel disk brakes LX front disk rear drum, oh and no ABS.

P.S. if there is a moonroof on an LX be cautious aftermarket roofs are sometimes prone to leaking.

advantages of EX over LX:

f22b1 SOHC VTEC motor
better suspension, rear sway bar
alloy wheels(94-95 ex wheels are the best)
sunroof
power everything
better exhaust manifold(4-2-1 system)
better looking muffler tips(dual)
slightly better cloth seats
im sure there are more

oh yeah, try to get a 94-95 since they're lighter than the 96-97 AND they are OBD1 which is more mod friendly.

LX is LIGHTER

besides you can add the missing suspension parts quite easily..... I have a Sun roof in my car that was aftermarket and after 8 years it does not leak

The LX had/has power everything too. Only the DX lacks that stuff.

Are the EX seats power? B/c that's the only thing that would be lacking on the LX..

They have power height adjustment on the driver's seat. I dont know if that is for EX-L's only or not. Also, the EX's had leather wrapped steering wheels and shift *****.

you really do not need power seats in that car. LX is a popular model in my area due to the cost savings over the EX

I haven't read that OBD II necessarily makes for a cleaner motor, just that it's more restrictive of the controls.
