i just have some simple questions. its for a 1999 civic ex coupe

first, if i buy a door skin offline... what exactly is a door skin? is it only the sheet metal or does it have all the internals and mounts?

and also, i want to push out a dent thats right in front of the driver side rear wheel. i tried a dent puller but it doesnt work so... how do i get to it from the inside? do i have to remove the rear seats or get to it from underneath.?

 

skining a door means you take the sheetmetal off and replace it, not the whole door. by the rest of your post id sugest replacing the whole door because it would be easier and i dont think you have alot of autobody experience. and to pull the dent near the dogleg using a studgun and slide hammer would prob be your solution. cant really say without seeing it.

 

a door skin is exactly what it sounds like... the skin of the door.

you cant really effectivly get to the rear dent from the inside. as the last post stated, use a stud gun and a puller.

 

post a pic of the rear quarter panel dent. as long as the dent doesn't reach the edge of the panel, and isn't too deep, it should come out. you could try taking the interior panel out and pushing the majority of the dent out with your hand.
