cold start
i have a 94 accord lx 2.2 sohc and when i go to start my car for the first time it cranks for ever and it will finally start i am jumping the car off of a snap on battery charger but after it starts before it even gets to temp i can shut it off and it will start on the first hit anyone have any ideals the fuel pump comes on i hear the relay and the injectors clicking it has new timing balancing belts new head gasket intake and exhast and new distributer and coil what could cause this
On a cold start, turn on the key and wait for the CEL to go off. Then crank.
You want to let the fuel pump build full pressure so the injectors spray out a nice mist that is easy to ignite.
Fresh spark plugs might help too.
