Default Another problem I'm trying to figure out... coolant!!

I have a slightly used fluidyne radiator in my integra and a slim fan connected with those special zip ties that go through the fins of the radiator. When I'm driving it smells like coolant. I'm not having any pressurizing problems with the radiator and I'm 99% sure that there's no coolant in the oil. I had my car running in the garage and I can smell it the strongest right off the radiator cap. I thought maybe it would be a bad seal but that would give me funny pressurizing problems in my coolant system. I'm also not losing any coolant. Any ideas?

What do you have for a coolant overflow bottle? Is the radiator cap new?

I just have the stock overflow bottle and the cap is the fluidyne cap that came with the radiator, not sure how many miles are on it. I got the radiator from a friend

Have you checked the hose from the cap to the bottle?

Looking for the same answer.
I have no leaks and haven't used any coolant. I still have a smell.
What kind of hoses are you using?

I have the stock honda coolant hoses and from what I can see, there are no leaks and they're brand new so I'm still confused. I was going to try and buy a new radiator cap and see if that takes care of it.

I had an interesting conversation with my father about my issue. When my car had the bad head gasket the same cat is still on the car. Some how when the cat gets to temp I can smell the coolant. But it is only after it is driven.

Well, there's no cat on my car, but i figured out that it was just my radiator cap. For some reason there was some dirt around the seal and i just cleaned it and no more smell.
