Default injector issues after mpfi conversion

i read the FAQs, searched and searched, and im still having hell with my crx. after dealing with what i thought was a distributor problem forever, i have determined that my injectors are not spraying fuel. they are definately getting pressure though.

the setup is a d15b2/p08 mini-me with cable Si 5speed in a 91 auto crx. im using a chipped p28 (gsr map currently on chip) and a obd0-obd1 conversion harness i bought off ebay(has the separate plug with O2 and vtec wires)

what frustrates the fack out of me is that the mpfi+obd1 conversion i did on my brothers DX hatch a few months ago turned out fine. but i cant seem to get the crx going. the car was running (DPFI mode) when i started all of this, so i dont think its going to be an error in the chassis harness, and i have pulled my engine harness and checked continuity and for any crossed wires. everything seems fine. the only CEL im getting is for the vtec soleniod, which i havent wired up yet because my harness didnt come with a diagram or labels of any kind.

could something be wrong with my jumper harness?
would not having the 4wire O2 hooked up cause injectors not to spray?
any ideas?

yes sir. the injectors are getting constant power to the yellow/black wires and nothing through the other wire.

also, the ecu is verified to be working. checked it on my brothers hatch. might switch over the wiring harnesses between the cars ans see if that helps.

run them directly to the spots on the ecu where they go and see if it helps

are you using the obd1 or obd0 injectors.. That makes a huge difference, because if you are running the obd0 injectors, you need a resistor box. If they are obd1, no resistor box is needed.

I had this same issue a few weeks ago.. It turned out to be the crappy egay jumper harness.

Have a very close look at the pins on the jumper harness. when doing continuity tests make sure you do them from the obd1 part of the jumper, not the obd0 plugs like I did!

You might want to use an injector testing kit to verify voltage.. it's these little lights that clip on to the injector harness.

im thinking that its either the cheapo harness or maybe some thing to do with the auto->manual. rywire mentions using a different harness on automatics. not sure if that means cars that are staying auto or if it includes previously auto chassis.

Hrmm..

Is the ecu 'booting' properly? (ecu light comes on for 3 seconds and then turns off).
