opinions on ceramic brake pads?
I need to get my brakes done real soon, and I'm debating what kind of pads to buy. I'll most likely be resurfacing my stock rotors and going for better performance pads. I called a GOOD local tuner shop and they asked if I would be interested in a set of ceramic brake pads. It was some odd japanese name, but he said those are now standard on Lexus, which says something for them. Anyway, they claim that they will NOT dust, and are good for a wide range of temps. Has anyone used ceramic pads before or heard about them?

Cerarmics reflect a **** load of heat........I.E. the shuttle is coated in it for re-entry.
WOuld think that they would do a great job at warping the rotors.
I would go with EBC green stuff pads.

anyone else have any input on this? I have to think that the shop I would be buying them from wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction, I just want to see if anyone else has tried something like these.....

I Use Endless CC-X Pads which are a Ceramic Carbon composite. Unbelievable stopping with them and No warping of rotors, in fact they have alot of pad left after a good amount of use and the Rotors are in very good condition.
If you want some info on the pads check the site in the sig.

cool, thanks for your help. Maybe I will give those a shot if they price out close to the AEM brake pads.
