Default Shocked crazy

Sorry to be a pain in the butt and noob but i really need help finding some springs and shocks. Before you guys flame and bash me I just would like you guys to know that I have been searching, three days now, this week and next week is exam week and I've been spending all my time searching for springs and shocks. I'm kind of going parts searching crazy. Thats all been doing. Also seems like all of the springs and shocks I've read about don't seem to be what I want. So bare with me. I have a 94 teg ls and I want to lower the car, not much 1.75"-2" at most, ideal would 1.75" for me. But yea I also don't what to be driving around all stiff and bumpy, i want something close to stock spring rates, I've also been looking at springs with progressive spring rates, are these any good. All they say is progressive spring rate but what are the actual spring rate with different amounts of pressure, like do they vary from 250 lbs/in-450. Also a lot of springs i've looked at don't even include the spring rates. Which shocks would be good with the setup I want? Any suggestions? Also nothing too expensive, my college tuition is adding up. Feel free to flame if you like but yea I have been searching my butt off for lowering springs and shocks, mostly springs though.

I like the Koni Sport Kit (includes shocks and Springs). The drop is 1.6" front and back. There is a recent thread on the Koni Sport Kit you should be able to find where I give more impressions. You can adjust the shock firmness. At the softest setting it rides just like stock. I just got them so I haven't played around with them too much. At one full turn of firmness there is a considerable difference compared to a stock car. I think you can do up to 3 full turns but not sure. I've also tried Koni Yellow and H&R springs on a RSX and that was also a good combination. I believe H&R has both a (1.75f, 1.5r) and (2.0f,1.75r) drop options as well as Neuspeed. I've never tried Neuspeed.

Also, I bought the Koni Sport Kit from a sponsor on H-T. Check out the Sponsors for a very good price.

Eh!!! Hmong dude! I just installed some Neuspeed springs w/ tokico shocks on my eg and it rides pretty good. I got an extra set of tokico shocks w/ sprint springs from my old setup laying around if you want them. The ride was ok. Was a little stiff, but I used it as my daily beater and around ditches and bumps with NO problems. Don't know how much I want for them, but just shoot me an email. VANGL34@uwosh.edu

go with some koni yellows and groundcontrol coilovers...get stock spring rates for them...trust me...later on down the road you'll want something stiffer...that way you can change the springs only...and spring rates are endless from eibach...my setup is the same just with 450 lbs front and 400 lbs rear...
