Default Airbags can deploy even with no battery?

I read that airbags can still deploy even if the battery is disconnected, is this true? How is one suppose to service the sensor for the airbag if there is this risk?

Stand off to the side or learn to duck real fast.

I would say that is true. Think about the safety and why there are installed.

Pick up a Chiltons manual and read how to fix it.

Or pay the man who knows how. It may be cheaper in the long run.
