Panasport C8 backspace
I'm thinking about purchasing some used 13x8.5 Panasport C8 rims to get ready for my jump to r-comps. They're off a Miata and have a 5.5" backspace. Does that translate to a +32 offset (8.5/2 - 5.5)/25.4? Right now I'm running Enkei RPF-1 15x7 with a +41 offset. I've swapped the brakes out for GSR front and rear calipers but I'm pretty sure that these rims will clear the caliper. Does anybody have any fitment experience with these rims on a 93 Civic HB? Is a 5" backspace better or can I just use spacers with longer studs?
Thanks
Thanks
Screw you guys, I'm... going... home.

If they are 8.5" wide (between the beads) then the overall outer-edge-to-outer-edge width (where the backspace is measured from) will be about 9.5", so (5.5 - 9.5/2)*25.4 gives an offset of about +19mm. No experience with your fitment, but that is the approximate offset from the info given.
My understanding is that Hondas and VWs use little less backspacing than Miatas in wide 13" fitments. Something more in the range of 4.5" - 5".
Would you mind posting a link to the wheels for sale? I'd be very interested if you decided to pass. Yes, I have a Miata.
